A Crosley popped up in my canned Craigslist searches. I’ve had a bit of a thing for these since I met the owner of several of them, including a delightful FarmOroad.

Sure, a Pao would be fun, but Crosleys were manufactured just a couple of hours from here . Now, whether I actually fit in one I can’t say, but at least in a FarmOroad it shouldn’t be quite so difficult.

Anyway, if anyone’s in the market for a quirky car, you could do far worse.

You won’t find many of  those around outside of its home state. Looks like a high quality paint job too but not many details. Seems like the kind of thing you would want to really explain beforehand to sell.

I never understood ads like that. I mean, its a free service, you’re not paying by the word or by the picture. Not even anything of the engine bay or interior, just pop a couple quick pics on the phone while casually walking past the trailer.

Well, now it’s $5 so it makes it even stranger. Like, take more than some far away pictures of the outside of your rare and niche car.

That actually a pretty good price if it’s in good shape. Crosley is one of my many oddball manufacturer searches I regularly do. Most I’ve seen in good shape and running/driving lately have been over $10k.

I met a man that had a Crosley wagon that was about 6-2 and probably 240+. The one thing he mentioned needing to do when he drove it was he would put bags of shot in the passenger footwell because without it the car would roll enough in left turns  to worry him that it might flip.

These are on display at the baggage terminal of the Cincinnati Airport.

Kinja'd!!!

They are positively tiny from the outside. Even on a platform they were probably less than 5' tall at the roofline.

Nice! Some of the cars at the Indy a irport are hidden behind security, which is annoying if you want to stop by and check them out. I might have to s wing through the airport if I’m in the area any time soon...which admittedly seems unlikely.

I was there working for a weekend and enjoyed it more than I expected to. I had almost zero expectations and it was Halloween weekend last year which meant bars were busy and lots of people were out and that definitely made it better.

If places ever open up again there’s a pretty cool arcade bar there too. The 8-bit bar I think was it’s name .

Drinks were cheap and so all the arcade machines were free.  Only the pinball machines took coins.
